LAS PLAYAS PARADISIACAS DE KRABI, TAILANDIA

Hola! Hoy vengo con mi parte favorita de mi viaje a Tailandia, nuestra estancia en la región de Krabi. Todos tenemos en nuestra mente imágenes de playas paradisiacas, aguas color turquesa entre colinas de piedra cubiertas de vegetación cuando pensamos en viajar a Tailandia, bueno por lo menos eso era en lo que yo pensé en primer lugar :) Elegir un lugar de playa no fue fácil. Descartamos por completo Phuket porque todos los conocidos nos habían hablado bastante mal del sitio y buscando referencias en google y mirando el tiempo (fuimos a principio de noviembre) decidimos ir a la provincia de Krabi, situada en las orillas del mar de Andamán.

Llegamos desde Chiang Mai en avión (2 horas de vuelo) y teníamos prevista una estancia de 4 noches. Debo reconocer que nos equivocamos con la elección del hotel y después de pasar 2 noches en una isla perdida rodeada de manglares de la que nos costaba desplazarnos 2 horas en diferentes transportes hacia la playa, cambiamos de hotel. Nos vinimos a la playa de Ao Nang, sitio bastante turístico pero agradable. Desde Ao Nang puedes ir a cualquier playa o isla que esté alrededor, se puede decir que es el punto de partida. Las opciones son muchas: la playa de Railay, las islas Phi Phi, la isla Bond, la isla Hong, etc. El primer día optamos por un plan más tranquilo y fuimos solo a la playa de Railay. Tienes un mercadillo, restaurantes, puedes hacer kayak, es decir, tienes actividades para pasar un día.

Al segundo día elegimos hacer el tour de las 4 islas. Cogimos un barquito típico sobre las 8 de la mañana y empezamos el recorrido. Las islas que visitas son: Koh Poda, Chicken Island, Tup Islets y Phranang Cave Beach. El tour vale totalmente la pena, el recorrido de una isla a otra no se hace muy pesado, conoces a gente, puedes hacer snorkel, aunque eso si, cuando te dejan a las 5 de la tarde de vuelta en el hotel no te puedes ni mover.

Hello! Today my post is about my favorite part of my trip to Thailand, our stay in the region of Krabi. We all have in our mind images of beautiful beaches, turquoise waters, among the hills of stone covered in vegetation when we think of travelling to Thailand, well at least that was what I thought in the first place :) Choose a beach place it wasn't easy. We discarted as an option Phuket area because all known we had travelled there has no good opinion about it. So looking for references on google and looking for a good weather (we went at the beginning of November) we decided to go to the province of Krabi, situated on the shores of the Andaman sea.

We arrived from Chiang Mai by plane (2 hours flight) and we had planned a stay of 4 nights. I have to admit that we were wrong with the choice of the hotel and after spending 2 nights in a lost island surrounded by mangroves that cost us 2 hours travels in different transports to the beach, we changed the hotel. We came to the beach of Ao Nang, pretty touristy place but nice. From Ao Nang you can go to any beach or island that is around, I can say that is the starting point. The options are many: the beach of Railay, Phi Phi islands, Bond Island, Hong Island, etc, The first day we opted for a quieter plan and went to the beach of Railay. You have a small market, restaurants, you can go kayaking, I mean, you have activities to spend a day.

The second day we chose to do the tour of the 4 islands. We took a typical boat around 8 in the morning and started the tour. The islands that we visited are: Koh Poda, Chicken Island, Tup Islets, and Phranang Cave Beach. The tour it's absolutely worth it, the trip from one island to another is not very long, you meet people, you can snorkel, but when you arrive at 5 in the afternoon back in the hotel you wouldn't even move.
