HONG ISLAND AND MORE

Hola! Hoy os enseño mi isla favorita de Tailandia.  Bueno, favorita hasta que no descubra otra más bonita :D 

Durante nuestras aventuras por Krabi visitamos la isla de Hong. Era nuestro penúltimo día en la zona y queríamos seguir viendo playas pero en un plan más tranquilo que el de la visita de 4 islas que os conté en el anterior post. Nos levantamos algo tarde y ya no nos daba tiempo a coger ningún tour de grupo y decidimos coger un barquito para nosotros solos. La diferencia de precio no es tan grande en realidad, son unos 15 euros más por persona y el barco te lleva al destino que quieras y te recoge a la hora que le digas. 

El trayecto dura unos 50 minutos. De camino nos pillo lluvia pero al llegar a la isla el tiempo mejoró. Primero te dan una vuelta alrededor de la isla y luego te dejan en esta playa paradisiaca que os enseño a continuación. No es muy grande pero nuestra suerte fue que el día no era muy soleado y casi no había gente. Imagino que en verano puede estar demasiado llena. Tiene un restaurante y un chiringuito y también una pequeña ruta por el interior de la isla. 

Y en este sitio, sentada en la arena blanca y mirando el agua turquesa te das cuenta que ningún rascacielos se puede comparar con la belleza y la grandeza de la naturaleza. Es uno de los sitios más bonitos que he pisado, sin duda alguna. Y además, al estar con tan poca gente te transmite mucha paz y tranquilidad.

Hello! Today I show you my favorite island of Thailand. Well, favorite until I'll discover another more beautiful :D 

During our adventures in Krabi we visited the island of Hong. It was our penultimate day in the area and we wanted to continue seeing amazing beaches but in a quieter plan than our visit to 4 islands which I mentioned in my previous post. We got up a little bit late and we no longer had time to take any tour group so we decide to take an individual boat. The price difference is not so big, it's about 15 euros more per person and the boat takes you to the destination you want and picks you up at the time you want.

The trip takes about 50 minutes. On our way it started to rain but when we get to the island it stopped. First the boat give a spin around the island and then leave you in this idyllic beach that I show below. It's not very large but our luck was that the day was not very sunny and there were almost no people. I imagine that in the Summer period it can be too full. The island has a restaurant and a snack bar and also a small path through the interior of the island. 

And on this place, sitting on the white sand looking at the turquoise water you realize that no skyscraper can compare with the beauty and grandeur of the nature. It is one of the most beautiful places that I have ever been, without any doubt. And with so few people it transmits you a lot of peace.
